Several of Victoria Febrer’s vinographs are featured in the group show MUJERES10, at the Atarazanas Gallery in the City of Valencia, Spain. The exhibition is organized by the City Hall of Valencia in honor of International Women’s Day.

Victoria Febrer was interviewed by Telemundo’s Acceso Total for a segment on the Cooper Union Saturday Program, where she is the Portfolio Preparation Instructor. The Portfolio Preparation course is designed to prepare high school seniors for admission to competitive Art and Architecture colleges. Many students have not had art classes in the public schools. Untitled Marine Vista #62 was selected for inclusion in the Aid for AIDS benefit exhibition alongside works by Louise Bourgeois and Pipilotti Rist. Aid for AIDS is a non-profit organization that is committed to improving the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS.

Victoria Febrer’s work will be shown at the Fall edition of the Affordable Art Fair NYC from September 22 – 25, 2011, at 7 West 34th Street in New York City. Twelve years ago, the Affordable Art Fair changed the model of the traditional art fair by making contemporary art accessible to all. Now in ten locations around the world, with the upcoming L.A. fair being the eleventh, Affordable Art Fair continues its success. Her work will be shown by the gallery Art Angler in Booth E-12. After the success of her first public mural at the Covenant House, Victoria Febrer was asked to return to create a new mural for the entrance hall of the building. This mural will serve to welcome new residents of the shelter as they begin their journey towards a better future. The mural was recently completed with the eager collaboration of residents of the shelter alongside High School volunteers from the area. The original typeface, “Sora”, was created by Karolina Lach, who also designed the catalog of the exhibition Memories of a Sea/Memorias de un Mar at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.

Victoria Febrer is participating in this year’s TriBeCa Open Artist Studios Tour (TOAST). Now in its 15th year, The TriBeCa Open Artist Studio Tour (TOAST) is an open invitation to the public to take a free, self-guided tour through artists’ studios in TriBeCa. For a few short days every spring, New Yorkers are invited to enter the fascinating world of some of Manhattan’s finest artists. Because of its success, the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos has decided to extend Victoria Febrer’s exhibition Memories of a Sea/Memories de un Mar until September of 2011. Memories of a Sea / Memorias de un Mar is the third and most extensive exhibition of her work in Spain to date and occupies the two galleries of the university foundation’s headquarters in central Madrid at Plaza Manuel Becerra, 14.

On the 30th of March, Victoria Febrer’s latest solo exhibition, Memories of a Sea / Memorias de un Mar opens at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid. It is the third and most extensive exhibition of her work in Spain to date and occupies the two galleries of the university foundation’s headquarters in central Madrid at Plaza Manuel Becerra, 14.
