Victoria Febrer’s work selected for <i>New Directions ’10</i>

Untitled Marine Vista #5 has been selected for the Juried exhibition “New Directions ’10”. The exhibition is curated by Nat Trotman, assistant curator at the Guggenheim in NY.Mr. Trotman selected 60 works of art from over 1,200 entries reflecting new directions in Painting, Drawing, Photography, Printmaking, Collage, Sculpture and Mixed Media Works. This show is known for thought-provoking images as well as demonstration of new and unusual artistic techniques.

On September 23rd, 2010, the collection of artwork decorating the new NY Center of the IESE School of Business was revealed. A suite of four works by Victoria Febrer adorns the main hall of the university. The paintings are part of the artists Untitled Marine Vista series, which received much acclaim when exhibited in Valencia at her last solo exhibition in February. Four more paintings by the artist are located throughout the classrooms and offices of the new building.
